Terms and conditions

Checking in times are strictly after 14:30 and before 20:00 as our reception closes and so we request that you check in between these times. If your flight is delayed or car trouble along the way, kindly contact us, so that we can make arrangements to accommodate you.

Checking out times are 10:00am on the day of departure. This is to ensure us enough time to clean and prepare the room for the next guests.

Children. Regrettably we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 years.

Pets No pets allowed

Servicing of rooms. Please note that our rooms are only serviced during the week.  

 

Payment We operate strictly NO PAY  --  NO STAY.  We request that guests pay 50% of the invoice at the time of booking and the balance on arrival.  When transferring money via EFT, please state clearly your surname and your contact number as your reference.

Peak Season payments for all December/January bookings, special long weekends and busy sports-weekends, we ask for 100% payment in advance.

 

Cancellation Policy. If you book a room, but cancel well in advance (7 days), we will happily reimburse your money. However, if you leave this to the last minute and cancel perhaps the day before as an example, or simply don’t show up, we would have turned away numerous other bookings and will therefore end up with an empty bed.

We all have to find some fair and meaningful balance between these two positions, in such a way that this will be understood and fair to all concerned.

What if you cancel?

  • If you cancel any booking, provided this is not nearer than one week, or seven days from arrival, we will refund your deposit in full. As far as the above mentioned peak season goes, we require notice of cancellation for a guest to qualify for a full refund.

  • Should a cancellation be requested that is less than the above mentioned seven days but more than 48 hours from arrival, guests will forfeit their deposit but not be held responsible for the full amount due. In the case of peak season bookings, the same rule applies but the period becomes fourteen days instead of 48 hours.

  • No cancellations will be accepted after 48 hours before arrival in the case of normal bookings or fourteen days before arrival in the case of peak season bookings. Guest will be held accountable for the full amount of the booking.
